Hi all,

Here is a summary in three pictures concerning the four Kennerton Thror headphones currently available on the market, each with a different color leather headband (black, brown and green).

quote : "Bog Oak wood. For thousands of years sunk oak trunks were lying on the bottom of the lakes. With no access for air they gained solidity, and become as strong as a rock. Historical documents reveal some common names for bog oak like «black wood» and «iron wood», it was called so for a reason."

Hello gents,

Do you have compared T1.2 and Kennerton Vali ?

I just have the T1-- unfortunately I haven't heard the T1.2. But the T1, while really good in many ways, is too bright for me. I much prefer the treble smoothness of the Vali, along with the Vali's greater tonal density or meatiness. More of a punch-- more visceral. While still having great detail and instrument placement/separation and speed. But again, I can only compare it to the T1. I'd imagine I would like the T1.2 more than the original. An interesting comparison question.

Hello everyone,

For information.

Regarding the range product of the Kennerton headphones.

The Kennerton Thror (planar headphone), flagship of the brand, is officially available in 3 finishes for wooden cups, slightly different price depending on the finish of the wood (Bog Oak, Pallissander and Karelian Birch (stabilized)).
The new Odin mk3 (Thridi) (planar headphone) in fact closer to the Thror than the Odin mk2 for the sound (this last is no longer produced) is available in the Palisander wood finish.
The Magister (dynamic headphine closed) is available with two forms of cups (spherical in Bog Oak or more flattened with a different wood).
The best seller Vali (open dynamic headphone) is available with 3 finishes of wooden cups (Natural, Varnish and Umbra).

Hi all, again.

Kennerton CEO Valentin Kazanzhi has a few surprises with his Flagship, the Thror,

After the special versiion of Thror made of stabilized Karelian Birch wood (tinted in green for the resin), here is a more conventional version of Karelian Birch wood cups, lacquered, probably one of the most beautiful woods available for Kennerton headphones , not to mention a special version of Thror, for an italian lover, with wooden cups "Burgundy", white leather and aluminum.

Here are some comments from Mr Valentin Kazanzhi on these achievements.

And comment of the CEO Kennerton : " Karelian birch... It will probably be one of the most beautiful Kennerton headphones. "

It seems to me that I guessed it right what kind of cars he likes..."

This is the most solid headphone I've ever seen. The design screams masculinity. Even more so than Audeze.

Beautiful piece of art.

Hi,

More than 90% of owners of Kennerton Odin and Thror headphones, in France, are men, like the owners of beautiful and manly European sports cars.

Why?

But not always ...:)

The outer isolating part is made of Sheepskin while the part you touch with your ears is made of the breathable and ultra-soft velour. It has perfect balance: not soaking too much sound and not allowing too much outer sounds to pass into your ears. Therefore, providing you with a pure listening experience. "
