Hi all,
Here is a summary in three pictures concerning the four Kennerton Thror headphones currently available on the market, each with a different color leather headband (black, brown and green).
Kennerton Thror with Zebrano wooden cups
Kennerton Thror with cups in bog oak (in the foreground) and Palisander wood (in the background), also with Kennerton's comment, reproduced below, concerning the bog oak:
quote : "Bog Oak wood. For thousands of years sunk oak trunks were lying on the bottom of the lakes. With no access for air they gained solidity, and become as strong as a rock. Historical documents reveal some common names for bog oak like «black wood» and «iron wood», it was called so for a reason."
Kennerton Thror with wooden cups made of Karelian birch ; stabilized birch wood, impregnated with green tinted resin to bring out the fine moirures of the wood; headband and ear pieces of leather (very soft) also tinted green; Kennerton Custom cable in green color.
