I read about it but I'm keptin business this weekend. (Making Music...) So I have to go there on some other day. As far as I know they are quite friendly over here so I'm looking forward to go there..:))

Yeah, they've been extremely flakey in getting back in touch.
 
If I don't hear a confirmation from them in a few more days, I'm filing a Paypal dispute on the downpayment I sent.

You need to appreciate they are quite a small specialised company so not that many staff.  Whenever I have contacted them in the past I have always received a reasonably quick reply.

Yeah, I've dealt with many small companies and one-man operations, so I do appreciate that fact. Mr. Takei pretty much handles the business-side of TakeT all by himself for instance. Craig and his wife run Eddie Current. And so on.
 
When QUAD didn't respond to my questions after two weeks time, and when I never got a confirmation of my payment sent after seven days, then I expressed concern for the sake of others here. When I got a response I mentioned that as well.

 You are right to be concerned. Basic good business manners. These are not cheap.

It would be great if you could and give us your impressions.
 
There is another member on the forum who claims it is the best headphone in the world, yet has never heard the Stax 009, sennheiser HE90, or compared it side by side to another electrostatic.
It would be good to get hold of some technical details too as they are very scant.  How specifically does it differ from the old versions. Technical specs like frequency response etc.  There is little information on the Quad site.  
 
I have the previous Jecklin electrostatics so interested how they compare
