Interesting. I just got a pair of HE-400s from Crutchfield. The date on the box shows 09/17/12. But when I look at the drivers it looks like I have rev2 versions (yesssssssssss). I can't read the card insert because it's in Chinese, but there looks to be serial #s for both L and R drivers, 2060686 & 2060687; both are handwritten.

They sound ok but I can't push the volume up enough. Both my Hot-Audio DAC Extasy and ASUS DG sound cards are @ 100% volume but the volume is still so low. So now time to order an amp.

This might be an interesting way to figure out driver types for the recall.
I wonder if HiFiMAN know at which driver serial numbers they went from r2 to r3.

2080440 & 2080439 here. Both are still r2.

I think I know why all the HFM customer service people are calling everyone "dear" now, it's probably because they are trying to say "dear customer" but cut out the "customer".

Well what about "Sweetheart"?

I think it's just because they love their customers that much

highly recommend this album to anyone who likes electronic music. It sounds amazing on my HD600s and there is some CRAZY bass in the second song. It's completely free, and normally I ignore free music, because free stuff can't be as good, right? I WAS WRONG.

Yes, of course! It's just an MP3... it's 320kbps :) you can get the FLAC, or even the WAV files if you're crazy like that.

I may have to check that out later.

There is a good deal of amazing free music out there. Zoogma, Pretty Lights, and The Coop come to mind. All of them are amazing bands/artists, The Coop is one of my all time favorites, very unique combination of electronic music, jazz, jam, reggae, and more.
