not only yours, m8 :p

i think that's a pretty common opinion - in any of the rig pictures ppl post, has anyone even seen those omegas?

I did, they are a very nice wood job... however they don't look like a 180 dollar piece.

I agree $180 is way too much, unless of course they are also headphones and a nice looking stand combined...

I'm looking for something to attach to the wall for several pairs because I do not have table space.  Any one try guitar hangers?

I've mounted 4 toilet paper holders from Bed Bath & Beyond ($7) under my desk for my collection. It seems a bit absurd to hang $1600 headphones on a toilet paper holder, but they're actually perfect. The cylinder is about .75" in diameter so it doesn't crease the headband, and there's just enough room for 1 or 2 headsets with cables on each one.

Couldn't find the hose hook, seems like there are quite a few head fi-ers in New York buying them all, hah.

I got these recently on impulse as silly decorations for my room but they double as a stand after some thought. Though I don't use them that way often since I'm on break from college and my friends come over quite a bit and use them to mess around, I swear they're going to lose an arm one day. Other stands I use are the glass heads from Pier One or just a simple hook I installed to my desk.

It always worries me a bit when I read something like this. If they have "rat tail" construction, there is a very high risk of the blade snapping off on impact or even mid swing. See here: http://www.bladeseller.com/Construction/index.htm

Word.  If you're going to be swinging any blades they should be fully functional with a full tang.

Yes. Immediate problem you can see is the headband creasing. Plus they don't look too stylish without the headphones on them. Not to mention the questions people will ask if they see it. I find this hose hook very out of the way. It blends in with my dark desk.
