I just tried one....i have put the CLEAR MG next to the UTOPIA 2022 (40 cm apart) and play the track at the same time/volume ..even there you can hear the difference if you do not have it on your head to listen to the two from the outside,that one radiates differently

That's a quote from the review linked above. I'll stick to my "old" Utopia (purchased in March 22). I don't want to lose the magic.

I suspected this and sense the original Utopia will be preferred by many. We’ve seen this with the Clear to Clear Mg, HD 600 to HD 650, and HD 800 to HD 800 S.

Jeeez....
Still darker tuned than the MG....

It's quite easy to misinterpret from frequency response charts but I'm going to keep an open ear and wait for audition. After all, the new Utopia is still Beryllium and it has a different time domain response than Clear's Mg dome. That's not to say that I might still prefer the original, as I did with HD800
