I have posted some brief impressions of the AT-HA5000ANV combined with the ATH-W3000ANVs in the amplifier section of the Forum for anyone who may be considering that amp. for their ATH-W3000ANV or other Audio Technica headphones.

I am sure you will love them.....

I'm sure I will as well, I already like the ESW9.
I see they are in customs since this morning so I'll probably have them this week.
I'll be using them the way you did, in bed. Full sized cans are not really an option there.
The ES10 I like to use outside.
And then I still have the Denon AH-A100 as well, quite a little performer that one.
Still breaking it in though, I just gave it two days 24/7.

I posted my thoughts on the HA5000ANV there as well .. finally.

And with the WA2, any noise? Just out of curiosity.

Just tried it on my new WA2 with a bit of tube rolling, and I can't hear anything at max. volume. Being a tube amp, it will of course depend a lot on the tubes you decide to use. And anyway, to be honest, a lot of my music has a higher noise floor anyway so I don't think it's much of a worry.

Sounds great, unsurprisingly! Even though the LCD-3 I got with the WA2 has stolen the W3000ANV's thunder a bit...

I have been listening to the W3000ANV in my WA5-LE and to be honest I have forgoten than my D7000 and DX1000 even exist.

Last night I rolled in a pair of RCA 5692 Red Base and wow! What a nice midrange without loosing detial and the bass is also very good. So far I have been keeping the EML 300B Mesh and the USAF 596 in place just rolling different drivers. I have used: TS RPBG 6F8G, Mullard ECC32 Brown Base, RCA 5692 Red Base, Brimar CV1988 Black Base/ Black Glass and Kenrad VT-231. So far my favorites are the TS,Mullard and RCA. I stil lhave others to try. I am liking these headphones more the more I listen to them.

Serial No. 1198 signing in... Just got it this evening and enjoying it. At the moment, the speed is there, the bass is a little soft and the treble is a little too hot. A little burn-in will help. Here are some pictures of the unboxing process

Wow, that looks like an end-game setup many people would be very happy with.
Nice stuff. :)
