Just received the M11S. No problems so far. A nice upgrade from my X5.

I will be using the M11S over the next few days and will give impressions.

Has anyone else who has already received their m11s noticed any odd occasional audio playback hiccups? I occasionally get a single audio stutter here and there when playing back music (this is with FLAC or ALAC files from an SD card), though not always. Wifi and Bluetooth are off, so there shouldn't really be anything big happening in the background or so.

I'm having this problem when I switch between fiio music and tidal. And it's reading the wrong value of the sample rate, instead of 48/96 it reads dsd value which is come from dsd file that I played using fiio music app.

Odd.. I actually have only used the Fiio music app so far (most often in "pure audio" mode), without any other apps running in the background. I've not tried any streaming service/app on it either.

Maybe try to reset the database and reinitialize your library. I hope it fixed your problem.

Edit: and if you have spare microsd card try to use that

Hi all,

I just got the M11S yesterday.

I am able to play FLAC files using an OTG cable outputting from M11S USB output to external DAC using Fiio music app. However, I’ve encountered the following issues:

1) Unable to play Spotify when using USB output to external DAC; no sound at all. Spotify was downloaded from M11S Applications.

2) When I unplugged the OTG cable from USB output on M11S and plug in headphone into the 3.5mm headphone jack, the playback speed was very fast resulting in the M11S producing cartoonish sound.

Does anyone experienced the same thing and did something to rectify the problems? Please share. Appreciate your help. Thanks.

I am able to play Spotify using external DAC via USB. I realised that if I play music using FiiO music app and then switch to Spotify, no sound will come out. If I unplug and plug back the USB cable and reopen Spotify, then I can listen to Spotify again.

Regarding the fast playback speed when using Spotify, it can happen when I switch from listening using headphone through the 3.5mm output to external DAC via USB; same thing happened when I listen using external DAC via USB and then switched to headphone using the 3.5mm output.

These are the some of quirks I encountered so far. To rectify, for me, first is unplug and plug the USB cable. If still cannot fix, reboot M11S will do the job.

Not a smooth experience so far with M11S, hopefully firmware upgrade can fix this.

When using the FiiO Music app, did you enable the exclusive USB Audio Access Mode? If yes, there will be no sound when using other app in USB output mode. So you would need to exit the FiiO Music app and reconnect the USB DAC again while using Spotify app at that time.
As for the second problem, we will try to reproduce and report to the engineer for checking about that. Thanks for the kind feedback.

Does the issue happen in the music in internal storage?
If not, you may check other SD card. And if the issue happens in certain music files, would you mind sending the files to us for check?

I have the m11s and i think if you Need a portable device this Is not the One. Ibasso Is more think and portable

After a few days listening to music with the M11S, it's outright amazing. I haven't had the chance to listen to other M11 models as I can't afford to listen to every model that comes out, but I'm very satisfied with this purchase and I really think at $500, it's a deal for audiophiles (who are demanding).

One issue I did have was the MicroSD slot. I had to push the MicroSD card (Sandisk 256GB) in rather forcefully in order for it to "click" into retention. Ejecting the card I had the same issue. Would like some input if others had similar experiences. It might be this particular brand and model of MicroSD as well, so I'll be using another brand in the near future to see if anything changes.

Also, are there any special protective cases that are coming out? I ordered the leatherette from AliExpress as I couldn't get it anywhere else.
