Have you had a chance to compare the balanced vs. single-ended with the cable I sent along with it? I quite liked the cable and the balanced output's imaging but wanted to get your take as I think I only used the single-ended output a few times.

i for now used the balanced cable, to be able to evaluate correctly and compare balanced vs single, I ordered an adapter once i get it i will compare both using the same cable
 
By the Biran at what volume level were you listening to with the cowon and zeus

  Seems like a scam. The seller is brand new and the fact that their name is "Contact us (email address)" is usually a sign they're selling gray or black market goods and circumventing any of Amazon's customer protections. I'd avoid it if I were you.

You are right, it must be a kind of scam, they are offering Plenue S and Plenue 1 for half the price - this is too good to be true, thank you for the advice.

I've found Plenue S on Amazon (used )for 850 USD, I added it to my cart but can't proceed with the purchase since I'm getting msg that it can't be shipped to the address in US. Do you think its a scam for that price?

It is a scam. Usually they run this scam with expensive audio gear and photography related gear. They would ask you to contact them using an email. Once you do and say you are willing to purchase, they will send you a link which will take you to a page which is a phishing page. The page will look dangerously close to an Amazon page, and there you will need to enter your credit card info.

Has anyone tried one of the new Sandisk or Samsung 256GB mircoSDs yet? I reckon should get 237GB usable but it would be good to know for sure as the price is quite high here in the UK

Ordered the Samsung 256 gb Select (green color). The Sandisk 256 wont be available until december. I'll let you know if it works.

I cracked and ordered the Sandisk one from Amazon here in UK - it is on 2 to 4 week delivery so it will be anxious wait... if you get yours first please do let us know it works and recognises the extra space... what I really want is a 512GB one as I could everything on that

There is no reason it shouldn't work if the DAP can already accept SDXC cards (incl the 200Gb Sandisk one).
The only "limit" is usually the track number limit.

Plenue in case generates too much heat. Especially when running 24/192 and DSD.  I am afraid it might damage the DAP or start a fire

Amazon has a really nice red case but I have been reluctant to purchase it do to this YMMV
