New Beyerdynamic T5p 2nd generation

Have to say...after a long road of searching, I believe these are my end game closed phones for a while. Within the last year I've had the Oppo PM 3, Audeze Sine, Audeze EL-8 Titanium, TH-X00, Momentum 2, Bose QC25, NAD HP50, P7, Beyer DT1770, and some of the other recommended closed phones, but all were either sold or returned for one reason or another. I think I can finally stop (for a while) and just enjoy these.

Could you compare these to TH-X00 and PM-3?.. In terms of bass especially.

Hmm based on reviews, I cancelled my order out of fear that it might be too analytical/bass-light for me. I'm between Fostex TH-610 and LCD-2F 2016 revision.

The T5p 2 Gen increased now for 200 Euro more in Germany.
Thomann has still the old price.
I found nothing analytical. And i have Bass fun like DT1770.

reportedly, yes. but as ever, trust your own ears and not others when possible. especially when paying what is quite a large sum of money.

I actually prefer Senn HD25 to the 1st Gen T5p. This is a prime example of why you should try them for yourself. everything on here is subjective, end of.

Then what's the point of this forum for?

Does this new T5P has more bass than the T1 2nd Gen?

I find the quantity of bass to be roughly equal in the T5p.2 and the T1.2. The T1.2 does require more amplification.

Just a heads up: Amazon UK has these for pre order at 563 GBP (approx 770 Euros) sold directly by Amazon. Very good price, but it has not ETA. Ordered one on Sunday, have yet to receive a delivery date. Might not turn up for ages, but the price is worth the wait, especially considering the latest rise in Germany

Not much of a headphone guy and currently have a HD650 running off a Beyer A20.

Currently looking for a pair close-back cans and hope that you folks can advice on the below:

1) I didn't see a mention on HD650, so how would the T5P v2 compared to HD650 in terms of sound signature?
2) I saw only one mention that A20 add more to the bass. How's the pairing A20/T5P v2 in other aspects?

Thanks!
