awesome I would love to experience them! Where you based?Got the T5P 2nd todayThe first thing i noticed, was that it was smaller than i imagened.I thought it would be huge.So that was a nice suprise.I Feel in love with the timeless design right away. Not flashy or bling bling.Just plain simple design
Im not an proffesional,or and audiophile expert,so i leave the details about the bass, mids and that kind of stuff to other people. But wat i could say,is that it sounded amazing
Not too bright, nor either too warm/dark sounding.Just perfect.Crispy sound with deep bass.Havent tried them so long, but the soundstage is good.Probably not the best, but good for an closed back headphone.Havent got any comments for the isolation yet.Are going to try them in the car
I also like that they are supplied with an 5 year guarantee, and that you can buy some parts to them.Pads, cable, and stuff. So these will last forever
Ps:tried different music on them, and they sounded great on all different genres![]()
i live in norwayawesome I would love to experience them! Where you based?
for me they sound good on the bands you mentioned. But they are expensive,so you should have others impressions to.Im defintly not an expert in the head-fi world. Lol.The best is to demo them first before buying.I did not have That opportunity. So I did an blind shoot. But so far, No regretsAh right if you was based in uk I was going to ask where you got them from. Im looking for an endgame headphone and IEM setup. Getting the fender FXA7 IEM when they release this month.
These seem to be the headphones im after. How do they sound with music such as nickelback, oasis, pearl jam etc?
haha lol. Currently i use the jvc sz1000 and the v moda crossfade wireless headphones. Those beyers would be a huge improvement I imagine. I found a retailer that sells them for £850. Would love to demo them in a shop though! As for the isolation though, they could be better. When i tried in the car,i could hear the music from the Cars speaker. But if i played a little high volume, it was good. But i dont Wanna destroy my ears. So I think i will use the iems in the car.On a train or buss i think they would work ok.In a car you are sitting very compact and nearby the Speakers,Or the chat some wife ( as if i havent told a 1000 times "i dont hear you when im having my headphones on". Lol.)
I was looking into the se846 myself and have come extremely close to buying them!
How do the details compare to the se846?
Do these headphones give you an immersive feeling? As though your in a close setting to the band?
@Peridot and @h8dk97, I will not be the one throwing the matches to burn you. I'm joining you in the bonfire. Lol
I too had grand hopes for the Ether C, until I properly auditioned them yesterday. What a disappointment. MrSpeakers has regressed in its offerings, IMO. The Alpha Prime is still their flagship as far as I'm concerned.
The T5p, while not isolating as well, is a much better headphone, than the Ether C. The T5p.2 must be even better (I still haven't auditioned them), based on what I've read.
Maybe the Shure se846 have more sub bass. With the Beyer i preferred the bass bost on oppo ha-2 for a warmer sound and better bass
