I've only heard the Ether C for a rather short time, but was definitely not blown away. I'll give it a second chance I guess, but first impression reflects yours I have to admit...

Just today I stumbled across a title with some nice deep bass that is barely audible with the SE846, but very impressive with the T5p2. They have the advantage of more surface, moving more air... but of course the SE846 has tighter coupling to the eardrum. Nevertheless I prefer the T5p2 overall, its just much less portable...
My first impressions are very good, and if i had to choose right now, i would take the t5p.Too bad the isolation isnt better. The size doesnt bother me. I thought it would be bigger. For me soundquality is most important. So i rather sacrifice a little at the isolation. But then again, i allready got the se846 from before. but no matter what People ends up with, both are exellent in each their ways i guess :D

haha lol. Currently i use the jvc sz1000 and the v moda crossfade wireless headphones. Those beyers would be a huge improvement I imagine. I found a retailer that sells them for £850. Would love to demo them in a shop though!

You can get them shipped from thomann.de for under £800. They're a very reliable company.

One of my favorites ^^^^^^^^ never heard a dynamic do it the way a planar does though. You should hear it on an he500.

Listened to "wish you where here" by Pink Floyd, and can't remember to have heard so much details before in the beginning of the song. :)

I also took a Quick comparison against the Philips fidelio x2.The x2 was a little smoother and warmer sounding. But i didnt feel the soundstage was larger then the t5p.So beyerdynamic did a good Job here. The T5P was also much more mico details :D

Awesome, as soon as i can get a demo in a store i gota hear it. Seems like alot of headphone for the price, nice buy bud
As far as the price,i do think they could sold them a little cheaper. I got them for an fairly price though. It so expensive here in norway.

Like the The Shure se846.It has gone up in price for the last two years. And to be honest, its too expensive/overpriced .BUT if you want its amazing sound, you have to empty your wallet.Thats just life :P
