Which version of t1 are you interested? i haven't used the focal clear, but keep in mind the t1.2nd is warm and they sounstage feels small.LOL! Pocket is not deep enough.
Beyer T1.2 Silver vs Black (Ninja Edition).
I'm wondering if the black version is available only in the US or globally.
I have noticed that the Black edition is only sold by may be 2 retailers here (us). Is it exclusive type of deals similar to the Massdrop?
One retailer listed the black as 2 year warranty while the other listed the black as 5 year warranty. The silver is 5 year everywhere.
So, what's the real warranty period for the black?
The black is usually $50 - $100 cheaper than the silver. I wonder if there were material changes here to achieve the lower price point? Do the black use the same Tesla Drivers (all metal)?
???
I have both. It’s an upgrade but it’s doesn’t sound as a beyerdynamic at all. It still have the detail but the clarity seems overlap by the background bass. It’s warm with forward mids. They vocals sounds full and not recess at all. The soundstage feels closer. If you like beyerdynamic bright and fast driver signature this aren’t that. They are fast but doesn’t feel as tight as the others. It’s more like a musically representation, they sound amazing. Warm and enjoyable but it’s lacking the brightness beyerdynamic it’s known for. It’s not a dark headphone. I also have the dt770 80 ohm and dt990 600 ohm. A/B with the dt880 they sound similar with more bass, rich/fuller/warmer mids, better 3D soundstage but it feels more closed and they lack the airy sensation that give this sense of openness, and brightness.got 880 600ohm now tempted for T1
I have tried many ways even backwardsI found and posted a long time ago that placement of the earcups is critical to getting the optimum sound
