Cable swaps on ACSS are more nuance than obvious change like with a few analog XLRs I tried. But silver still compliments the highs and other materials in slightly different ways. Krell states their CAST system ‘minimizes the cable’s affect on signal transmission‘. But Krell wIll gladly sell $1,000 cables. I’m using Kingwa’s 6 yr.old ACSS cables while I await a friend build me a new pair. They sound plenty good for $25us.

Another ACSS cable offering from Ebay...

And here is some information about Krell CAST.

There are other fine cables on this link, 200 times cheaper. Save money for better pre-amp. ACSS makes it more affordable.
sorry, today's silver price is over $600 for 1kg. link
if you can find 200 times cheaper price comparing to $700-1000 for 1kg I mentioned above, all the world will buy from you.

And the price difference of $100-400 each kg, just is the labor and machine fees.

The best XLR I used was the Inakustik NF-2404 Air, it costs about US$2300, it is completely beaten by even the stock ACSS in terms of transparency, speed and soundstage
I cant believe it, I heard lots of times about audio gd stock acss cable - it is just for test, its cant compete anything

I'm using these cables. I'm very satisfied with their performance. They sound balanced with no artificial peaks in any frequencies.
thank you for advice
they are even cheaper than magma ))

A headphone cable supplier called Lunashops has gold plated silver cable, but it may be too thin for large equipment.
acturally I am thinking about costomizing because lots of chinese goods can be costomized if anyone groups the orders to over $500.
around $700-$1000 for 1kg silver litz cable https://m.alibaba.com/product/1888745846/silver-litz-wire.html

A good interconnect cable do not have to use pure silver wire, it was my point. Silver plated (or even a quality copper) when used in a proper geometry and quality dielectric sounds superb. I made number of XLO cables according to the the link below, they were competetive with cables around $2k.

(Sorry for missing the web link, here it is)
This page listed lots of physical characters and 2-3 of them can be customized.

but my interest is whats the best acss cable for audio gd?

Kingwa forwarded the link of this Italian seller's ACSS cable recommended by his customer in his bbs.audio-gd.com and said it is a better ACSS cable.

By the way, we still have no much physical details on the CAST/ACSS cable body itself like size of each string and how many string wires can be soldered to 1 pin if it needs strained cable; will a solid core be better than strained strings, etc.

I initially bought the Invictus cable from eBay. I much prefer the ACSS cable from Robertson audio. The Invictus cable's bass was a tad softer than Audio Gd's ACSS cable. I sold it and bought the ACSS cable from Robertson Audio, which I'm still using between the R1 DAC and NFB-1 Amp (which is connected to my HD800S). I'm very happy with my setup and I've no plans to upgrade anything for a long time. I'm simply enjoying the music.

Robertson Audio in Australia makes a solid core silver ACSS IC cables. I compared them to my litz OCC silver ACSS IC's and the solid core is better.

Very worth it for around $150.00.

I have also tried OCC copper litz ACSS IC's and solid silver core is the king.....
The differences to my ears are NOT subtle.....
