Almost the same, mine has the focal twitter and focal mid but no upgrade. Got them in sets for high end surround listening. Osborn eclipse, Osborn F2 and the Osborn C3 all in jarrah. These speakers were design mostly for tubes components I think.Haven't tried it but looks nice.
Funny, we have the same setup, except maybe the fact my tweeter is upgraded to the reference. It sure is a great setup.

New Audio-gd R-7, R-7HE R-8, R-27, R-27HE, R-28 Flagship Resistor Ladder DACs and DAC/amps
Still experimenting with acss cable, not many you can find in the market and I'm pretty happy with what I got now, using them for about 2 months. I might try the one you got and build one myself. Mostly listening with a balance silver litz cable before I got the acss one. I'm using this for speaker [ https://robertsonaudiocables.com.au...copper-combination-speaker-cables-bi-wire-set ] similar to this and they are fantastic cable.Yes, but speaker design is less about drivers and more about how you can integrate everything via cabinet and crossover design. Osborn demonstrated how he could make Focal drivers sound their best using his designs than Focal ever could with their Utopia speakers
Haven't tried either but if it was me I would buy the Invictus. Any conductor that is 26 AWG or thinner, individually insulated (i.e. Litz) will be superior to solid core 24 AWG. With 24 AWG you'll start getting distortions above 15khz. The best are flat Litz cables but these are usually very expensive.
I accidently quoted you instead of FredA.

A good acss between audio-gd pre and power amp would beat my silver litz xlr easily. Then again, the same silver litz cable fitted with 4-pin xlrs easily beats its 3-pin xlr equivalent.Still experimenting with acss cable, not many you can find in the market and I'm pretty happy with what I got now, using them for about 2 months. Between the dac and pre, silver litz beat my long-time acss occ copper litz favorite fair and square. Adding a second silver litz cable to the chain after using just one for a while is not a subtle upgrade.

They match well with the m3. They won't forgive treble harhness and the m3 has litterally none. Also the m3 outputs the best mid range of any amp i have tried, and this with the focal midrange makes a superb combo.Almost the same, mine has the focal twitter and focal mid but no upgrade. The ACSS cable between your DAC and pre would be the most important cable IMO. I'm thinking either silver litz like yours, or OFC flat litz for about US$500-600 factory terminated, I haven't found them coming in either silver or DIY rolls.
As for the cable between the pre and power, I haven't looked yet what options are available. I'll definitely need a roll since I'll be needing 40ft of cables, I'll be using stock cables for awhile until I can find a good roll of silver litz, manually braiding 8 conductors over 40ft is not going to be fun.

You can use a 16 core braid meant for headphones for a reasonable amount on ebay, it should sound well.

You can ask vintage_audiolab, but it will cost you 70 usd per meter (try to negociate). You can request it unterminated and ready to solder, insist on it. The two ground wire should be tined individually. Maybe they can do the soldering for you if you supply the connectors and schematics. I think the furutech 4-pin xlr would do, the cost is under 120usd for 2 male and two female at partsconnexion.I haven't found any in silver litz, do you know of any on eBay?

Dear all, for the 50 ohm BNC cable for 10 mhz reference clock, which cable standard should I use? RG316, RG58, RG8x?
By the way, does the reference clock need a linear power supply as raspbery pi?

Rg400 has better specs. Any 50ohm will do, including rg58. The ocxo units available on ebay require 12V 1.5A, get. 2.0A to be safe.Dear all, for the 50 ohm BNC cable for 10 mhz reference clock, which cable standard should I use? RG316, RG58, RG8x?

Holy cow it's gonna be expensive at that length. I'll stick with stock cable for now and will entertain a better cable somewhere down the track.

I assembled an ACSS cable with something similar and it is very good.
