BTW, i hope i'll have a bit wider lens for my Pentax by then. Hehe, or do you live in a huge mansion with enormous rooms, then the 80-200mm will do just fine i guess.

My internal flash died by the way, i noticed yesterday when i wanted to shoot some indoor pictures (
blink.gif
yea, again with the 80-200mm, ...i really really need a wider lens), ah well, ISO 800 is quite noise-free but when i need a photography break i'll send it towards Pentax, it will take around 4-8 weeks to fix it

No mansion, but not a small house either. A 200mm might be a tad overkill thuogh.

Sucks that your flash died! Can't you take it back to the shop and ask for a new one on the spot?

Jun 8, 2007 at 8:45 AM Post #49 of 272
Hehe, id rather not bring it back to the shop where i bought it.

That would be in Luxemburg.

I already was happy i could bring it to an generic camerashop and they will send it towards Pentax for a repair job.

That'll give a decent insight into their sound. I hope I have the drivers on time, as there is no distributor here in Holland those in Germany are insanely expensive (above €200 per driver).

Interesting read though I thought he was never gonna actually talk about the speakers

.
Would like to heard them. Hope you get the drivers on time.

Contrastique if you'll come too, shall we do some blind test between our sources, would be great fun.
So we can compare Procreate's Imod, your 4th G iPod, Chimpie's 5G iPod and my Creative:Zen. (

wow, lots of apple products)

I am always for that kinda stuff! And yes I am coming for sure! Great oppurtunity for me to drive a long way

Would be awesome, if someone could upload some HQ Lossless songs we all appriciate and know (at least some of them), then this would be a good and Objective sound quality test between the sources.

I'll bring my laptop with lossless files. Uploading in here would take a very very long time.

tongue.gif
but well ...I don't remember....Was it in your profile on headfi or something??

Jun 8, 2007 at 6:25 PM Post #56 of 272
Yea the DT990 was in my headfi profile, hehe .. i dont even know how they sound
eek.gif
.

But today is a great day for me (except that the weather was awfull).

TODAY I BOUGHT A PENTAX-M 50MM F/1.7 LENS

WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
WHOOO.gif

Still a manual though
tongue.gif
.

The fastest AF Pentax in that range i know of is the Pentax FA 43 F/1.9, which is WAY out of budget (around €500-600,-).

The depth blur is incredible!

Can't wait to make some awesome Headphone shots

I remember you had a Mac, right?

Because that would take a REALLY LONG TIME to get those files onto my Creative: Zen.
