I've heard of Etymotic giving great service - but I just learned that there are a lot of companies that do that too, except Logitech!
Very interesting that they are willing to repair things for you.
You seem to be very familiar with Etymotic, AstroTurf. Are you a current or former employee? Perhaps an old customer?
I will look into those other companies mentioned by Tinyman.
And yes, the replacement cable is really something that is a bonus for an IEM, something that the Er4 and the 535 seems to have. It is quite a good feature.
