Well it might, but I don't think how it is that relevant in this case. Cables are mostly small and light, especially the one(s) I am after. It is not that I need or would want to go to the nearest thrift shop to get one (that would be cool but not a requirement). I basically need to know which one to order that technically meets my needs. So my question still remains: which cable is recommended?
Regular 3.5 TRS jack cable is OK, the important thing is that it should be quite thin at the ends to fit into the MDR-E472's housings. I need the type which could be soldered. And I would need quality cables and here is where I am a little bit lost. Sonys used to have these Oxygen-free Litz quality cables that were quite good. I don't need $1000 cables I presume, I'd aim below $100. Any link might do, I guess AliExpress could be the answer, but I don't know what to order from there exactly. Thanks in advance
