Hello, I'm looking for advice either to stay with DAC/Amp combo or take a DAP for my daily use
Currently I have Hidizs S9 Pro with my Pixel 3 phone, and recently I'm reading about DAP (Hiby R3 Pro Saber) and it confused me a bit
So I'm coming here asking maybe there are who have experiences with these devices
I dont care about the portability, since all I'm looking is only the sound quality
Will Hiby R3 Pro Saber gives significant sound quality upgrade than my Hidizs S9 Pro + phone combo?

Hello I own the S9 pro and I am very satisfied.

Have you tried the Hiby R3 Pro Saber ? If you don't need to use it separately from the phone I would stick with the S9 Pro.
There probably won't be much audible difference between the two.

The advantage of the Hiby will be the battery life I think. The S9 pro uses a lot of my phone batteries.

Honestly the Hidizs S9 Pro has a slightly better DAC than the Hiby R3 Saber. The R3 does have MQA if that is important to you. I would not expect noticeable differences in sound quality.
