I'm currently planning to buy a CowonJ3 > FiiO E11 > UM Miracle
 
however, I just realised that the FiiO doesn't seem to have any LOD for Cowon?
 
and I read somewhere that if I were to use the jack-to-jack wire to connect my MP3 to AMP, 
it wouldn't work as well, in fact it might affect the SQ in a bad way.
 
So I need some advice whether I should go ahead and pair them up,
OR
I should do the following rigs:
 
1) Currently have a iTouch, so I can have iTouch>L9LOD FiiO E11>Miracle
 
2) Just CowonJ3>Miracle
 
3) Pay abit more for Headstage3G, therefore CowonJ3>Headstage3G>Miracle (does headstage have lod? no idea)
 
4) Get some PROs in the DIY section to make me a Cowon LOD for a small fee.
 
Please give me some suggstions!

The J3's HP out is just as good as a line-out, so a 3.5mm-to-3.5mm cable will do and the E11 includes one.
The J3's line-out only works with videos anyway.  For your iTouch, get the Fiio L3(?).
Your J3's battery life will improve mildly when hooked up to the E11, or any standalone amp for that matter.
