I could only think of iPod classic.  
I need one with big memory and able to play Apple or Windows lossless files.  However the most important thing is excellent sound quality.  Thanks.

You should convert those WMA lossless files to either FLAC or ALAC....there are very few devices that can play WMA Lossless.

The Cowon X7, X9, Sony Z1070 are very good sounding DAPs with long battery life.

I'm pretty sure it is resistive. It should sound good, and it has crazy battery life, but the screen is definitely old school tech. Resolution is 480x272....pretty lame for a 4.3" screen if you ask me.
