The pic in Shaunybaby's post is definitely the prototype Mjolnir and Gungir, as demo'd at the Schiit table at the Village meet in LA just over a week ago. (Jason, Rina and Mike were wearing T-shirts - "Schiit happens.") Components still undergoing voicing at that point.

Blue light at the corner is a reflection.

And, Kremer930, the statement amp will have enough wattage to drive speakers - 50 wpc is the figure floating around.

Is this from Schiit or just more like speculating?

How many 50 ohm speakers do you know of?

Amp will likely have speaker taps with this amount of power on board.

Now that would be cool and the perfect little desktop setup, although it seems to go against the Schiit motto of less is more.  I for one would love a set of binding posts and a switch to go between that and headphone outs.  Sometimes you feel like a headphone, and sometimes you don't.

Hey Jason,

Any chance there will be a production Mjolnir available to listen to at T.H.E. Show Newport?

Barring metal delays, yes. At worst it'll be ugly metal with production board.

Looks pretty fun to me - That power supply looks healthy!  What type of transformers are those?

Will the statement amp has a 4 pin balance XLR output?
