Box #1 arrived in the morning mail. It is up to 39 CDs. I will be keeping it a few days to preview. Will post what I took.

Chick Corea Electric Band

All good CDs for work, fairly easy listening.

By the way the shipping cost went up a couple of dollars.

Bad thing about being at the top of the list -- once the box is gone you are at the bottom. Well it will be interesting to see what Tyll adds.

Mystery Box 2 just arrived. Without giving anything away, All I can say is that this box is WAY better than box 1!!
Looks like Ill be taking out quite a few. will post the results in a few days!

Box 2 will be on it's way out tomorrow. I removed 13 and added 16. I took:
Sex Pistols, GNR, ELP, BOC 2cd set, Eurythmics, MOM, 60's folk compilation, Traffic X2, Sunny day Realestate, and Rush.


Are these boxes going to keep circulating? do I have to add my name again or will it be automatic? This is alot of fun

We move to the bottom of the list. It will be a whiile I think before they come around again unless there is a split.

At the rate its going it will be sooner than you think.

When a box splits (Box A) the odd fellows on the list go to the new Box A and the even fellows go to the new Box B. Then Box A's list is added to Box B and the even fellows are added to Box A

So if Box A is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10

The new Box A is 1,3,5,7,9,2,4,6,8,10
The new Box B is 2,4,6,8,10,1,3,5,7,9

So if your at the end of a list when it spits, you are only half way back of one of the new boxes.

Now if we can just keep 3 boxes from showing up at the same address at the same time.

Just so that no one is supprised the cost of shipping went up about $2 since we started. I found this out at the Post Office last time I shipped the mystery box. It is now a little over $7 up from $5.20.

Hey there everyone. Got a box yesterday. I have not really gone through it yet, but there are definately a hadfull of swapping canidates. I will also be able to pretty much fill the box. Keep posting as it moves around!

Sent the box off.

I took out 6 and put 11 in. The box that it came is is pretty much filled to capacity now at around 40 CD's. It went out priority mail to JohnActon, so everybody can check in their email updates how close it is to you.

It was fun lisening. I tried to heterogenize the content a bit. I look forward to future boxes, and thanks again to Audio Redneck for being the mastermind on the planning and implementation of this whole process.


P.S. Anyone hoping to score the M.C. Hammer's greatest hits, don't keep your fingers crossed.
