Those are soooo-sweeeet!

Ok; you just made up my mind for me, for what I wanna do to my 225's, eventually. Been spending lots of time on Larry's site checking out my options, and I had it down to the Paduak and Zebra, with Blackmax cable, and the 2-inch custom headband.

Now, I KNOW I want the Zebra

! Nice pics, and please post your take on the differences in sound once you've had some time with them. Peace!

I've always liked the sound of my stock HF-1s, but I'll certainly post my impressions of the audio qualities of them modded. To be honest though, a comparison to the stock HF-1 without doing a side-by-side doesn't hold a lot of water IMO.

I've never experienced C-pads, but I like Grados with the stock bowls just fine. I'm really interested in how they sound with the mods.

i've seen the HHF-1s wrapped in zebra - they were at the National Meet. And they looked spectacular! i wish i had time to listen to them, but i was running around that day like a headless chicken.

In the end it doesn't really matter - the weather inside will be just fine!

I've heard a number of people mention that pictures don't do Larry's handywork justice.
