Hi guys,

I recorded a video today talking about the sound of the DT880, DT990, and T1. I kinda ramble on about some random stuff, but not bad. The DT880/DT990 are both 600Ohm versions.

I did this video because there are no videos out there talking about these headphones. I searched youtube and found nothing on these in the form of video's.

Great thoughts and I do concur with your comparisons having formerly owned the DT880/250, DT880/600 and now owing the T1s (and having heard the DT990/600s on a few separate occasions).

To date they are still my favourite headphones (T1s that is).

Indeed the T1's are great. I couldn't figure out the words to use in several parts but I'm sure you understood .

Great video Zombie...it would be a nice idea to have a section with video reviews/comparisons. Just a thought....

There should be more video's for sure. It does add that human element, but when chatting on the boards it's like talking to a computer.

Anyways, anyone have any questions about any of these headphones?

It might also limit the flame wars if we put more of a human element into it.

Last night I listened to the 40th Anniversary of Bitches Brew (Miles Davis) last night with my T1s and Concerto and I was amazed at how organic and liquid the mids were, the bass taught, deep and perfectly impactful and the treble was silky sweet. They don't have the WOW factor that the HD800s, but over time, I've come to appreciate them as my favourite headphones.

X2.  Good video.  And, you've got some onions.

Thanks for the video and having the balls to shoot it. I agree that this is a good way to go about comparing headphones with a personal touch.

Sorry but I'm unfamiliar about the slang "onions". Is that like saying I have balls? LOL sorry if that was not appropriate.

I plan on releasing more video's on headphones and amps in the future. Probably one a week or so.
