It's too uncomfortable. But damn I love how they sound.

I want to listen to them all the time, but I feel like they are pressing too hard against my temporals. I get a headache after too long.

Any way to resolve this comfort issue? Any hardcore modders here wanna take this on?

Cheers.

I wouldn't mod the K1k for that very reason. If you decide they're not for you after all, you're lopping $300+ off the resale cost, and potential buyers typically like phones in great condition.

It might be just as painful, but perhaps it might be a good idea to let your temporal area heal a bit; when you're better, place the phones so that they rest closer to the bony part of your head. Pressing on the soft spots can, for some, be like giving yourself a headache. At least that's been my experience.

How about an ugly cottonball-ducktape mod around the cushions.

See if you can get used to it. Take some headache medicine if it gets bad.

Some suggestions:
* Replace the temple pads.
* Bend (out) the headband.
* Spread the temple pads apart (the back pair are adjustable).
