I do own the Evo silverGold oil in 2.2uF. Well, I think the fun just started for you. I really encourage you to take a look at the "Humble Homemade Hifi" capacitor test and recommendation. I agree with everything he wrote, since I own a fair chunk of the capacitors in his list.

I seen that cap shootout before, I like Mundrofs, I have used them in my 300B monos, but never tried these white ones. I picked them mainly for their compact size.

Sounding really nice now with about 30 hours on it. Rolled out the stock tubes for a GE 5ar4, two JJ ec88/6922, and a Sovtek 6922 in the rear. The new tubes has about 8 hours so far.
Have a nice new set of Teslas 6dj8 saving for another day. Probably after I roll the caps.
Also need to change the feet, damp the cover, and upgrade the fuse, before I close it up.

DHL now says arriving 5/15, that's less than a week since I got the tracking number. That's great, I figured it would be at least ten days from China.

Did DHL charge you an extra COD fee? Mine is supposed to be delivered today by UPS by noon, but UPS never showed up. I then rechecked the tracking again only to notice that I needed to pay an extra C.O.D fee of $102.49.

I had to pay import fees and taxes as well.

Just received my unit. I changed the tubes, but not the caps yet. But, one think for sure my new Jantzen 6.8uF won't fit, it is too big. Noticed a spike at one of the power supply caps when I first powered on the unit, hopefully nothing serious.

I got a lemon. Massive uhmmmm when I use the RCA in/out ports, and even at max volume the audio is so low I can barely hear anything. Right channel has massive clipping. Changed the tubes, same problem. I think the spike I saw when I first turned it on was for real.

No, they did not. Didn't you pay the shipping already, what is it for.

I would be pissed, mine did smoke when I first turned it on, but was ok the second time. I heard from another forum that they were out of stock already. I think they are rushing them out without proper checking and packaging .

That's always the case with UPS. There is always some charges when getting international shipment from them.

I don't think he would have shipped mine if I didn't send an email to remind him of that. He then sent me one without verifying it first. I hope I won't be asked to pay for shipping to return it, nor would I want to pay UPS another extra $102.49 to receive a new one. At this point I am thinking about asking for a reimbursement and forget about this pre-amp.
