Hello again, all......

I was just wondering as many of you use computers as your main place to store and listen to music... I was just wondering how much you actually have on your system????

I'm not much of a music "collector" per se. I listen to everything I have. I usually have my iTunes set up on shuffle all the time (by genres) - just depends on what mood I'm in.

So how much you have????

***btw, i searched for a thread like this, but came up with nothing... i thought for sure this topic would have been discussed before***

200 gigs lossless. I'm really not fond of the idea of integrating another hdd into my pc as it's pretty silent alright. I guess I should start saving up for a lossless music server eh?

About 70GB total, 30GB are Musepack and the rest is FLAC.

Just filled a 60GB drive with lossless and I'm not close to having ripped everything I want to. I've got a 300GB drive that needs formatting, etc. this weekend, and then I'll go after it.

Mildly offtopic, but I've been filling up my drive with a lot of stuff from http://www.archive.org. There's a ton of music, but I've also been grabbing a lot of video. They have old newsreels, movies, everything.

For those not in the know, everything at archive.org is in the public domain. Nothing illegal whatsoever and you can download as much as you want. I love that place.

Currently about 400 GB. All Flac. I use a networked computer for file storage and have a couple of external drives for backup. The worst part of it is that I'm getting ready to expand my storage space.

The convenience of PC audio can be addictive.

67GB or so. Majority is 160kbps MP3, but there's some 128kbps, some 192kbps, and some 320kbps mixed in.

I use Real Rhapsody, so I don't have the option of higher quality. 70GB is more than managable on my 250GB hard drive, and $15/month for unlimited downloads is much cheaper for someone like me, with a budget system and not much money.

About 100GB here, with around 25 of that in FLAC and the rest in various forms of lossy.
