  I had a great time at the meet. It was my first and I learned a lot. I got to listen to some exceptional gear and, more importantly, I got to meet some great people who are eager to help a newbie enter the hobby (obsession).
 
Thank you, Theogenes for making all of the arrangements and making this happen. Thank you to everyone else for your patience and openness to share your expensive gear.

My wallet narrowly escaped the WA8 assault... After getting some undistracted time with that bad boy, I tossed and turned all night, and finally convinced myself (by repeatedly pointing out that I don't actually have that money to blow on fun audio toys at the moment) to pass on buying it.  But dang... Those Woo guys have my number, I'm afraid. They're going to get me eventually.

I haven't forgot about the Liquid Spark. It spoke to me and I expect I will be getting one as soon as possible. It is much more in my price range and a still makes me smile. Heck, I teased Kevin about taking the prototype home with me.
