Ok, I can find reviews, articles for school, this and that and that, but obviously searching pictures and gifs are not my thing (I suck at finding pirated software too, go figure!). I suppose she gets out "The people are so hu-" before the loop.

Hey, at least she doesn't actually endorse Skullcandy. Cause who'd wanna munch craniums? That'd be like... destroying the environment to get some oil!

EDIT: What, since when has the word **** been classified as vulgar? seems the forum automatically censored the word with stars.

EDIT 2: there it goes again, even if I use a zero... ok here, "PR0N"... let's see if it takes now.

EDIT 3: yep, Pr0n works...

"my psusy is so hot."

pornography is a valid substitute as well.

Exactly. Take any high end can that wouldn't get a second look by someone in the Skullcandy demographic. Put on some skull logos and cool graphics, maybe add some rasta colors and you would have a product that would give Skullcandy a run for their money.

Other than that, I find that Skullcandy threads are rubbish 99.9% of the time, as they're full of pointless bashing. Bashing rooted in jealousy, as in "why didn't I think of this".

You can hate the headphones, but you can't hate the company. They did what every company who has a solid marketing department did: they designed products based on the needs of a market. Most people today, they prefer loud recordings to dynamic ones, as ludicrous as that might sound to us. Skullcandy just reflected this generation's taste in their products, from the sound quality to the physical design. Seems like a perfect match to me.

dont agree with that one bit. That fault lies 100% on the shoulders of the industry as a whole. From the listeners point of view if you want loud you just turn the volume up. You dont chew away at the dynamic range.

What SkullCandy does well is caters to their market of common people. People who think spending $100 on headphones is extreme. They probably dont even know headphones in the $500+ range exist, nor do they care. Thats one thing that struck me in reading some reviews, how often people kept saying something along the lines of "I cant believe i spent $60 on headphones, but it was worth it!".

I was planning on taking a pair anyway since some people want to know just what I mean by audiophile headphones.

just reply back with "wutever" and when u see her just look at her condescendingly. if she starts talking, just go, "uh huh" and keep walking... eventually she'll put two and two together, and she'll apologize by buying you an hd800 and ps-1000... oh, and when she gives them to you, she'll do the palin .gif thing.

See Metallica CD vs. Guitar Hero controversy. By the way Kev, placing some feedback for me in the FS forum would be good

alot of stuff they said in that video, IMO is BS, they should be sued for misrepresentation especially about the sound... and the comment about they are "high-end" haha what a joke..

i like the weird design that they have thou and of course the price is great.

Well, maybe it's my cynical nature that leads me to believe that most people would prefer loud to dynamic if subjected to a direct comparison. But I'm sure there's a lot of people out there who truly do. Look at how remasters today are being eaten up and how people will describe the original release as having an "old, weak sound".

The industry might have started the loudness fad, but it only became a "war" after the consumers have responded positively to it, which is why we're in this situation today.

PS.: chinesekiwi, check your feedback thread!

Yeah well from the top of my head it was All American Rejects, *****cat Dolls, Eminem & Dre and the ones you mentioned. Those were only spotted in 30 min. of MTV.
