hearing loss due to overexposure to headphones and IEMs: $XXXX

Trekstor Vibez- $190
Future Sonics Atrio M5- $160
Shure med. black foam tips- $14

$364 total.

Not bad, because it's not only my portable rig, but my everyday rig. It even does double duty at home in the evenings now that my main 2-channel stereo's California Audio Lab cd player is down.

To be honest, I feel guilty and frivolous for having a $350 ipod and the E500's. Can't imagine amping that. Heck, I think I could be just as happy with the Altec Lansings and a shuffle.

Still, it was a gift so....who am I to argue with such generosity??

Shure KSE1500 - $3000

That's almost as much as the first three pages of this thread combined. It was a different world in 2007.
