Probably Stax. Even the SR-1 and SR-3 are quite listenable by today's standards.

Yeah, but that is mainly because Stax has made no attempt to enter the 'budget' headphone industry.
I think I might vote for Grados, despite preferring in the Stax sound. The sell headphones in a large range of prices and almost all (I can't comment on the 'streetstyle' ones) sound good relative to cost.

Sennheiser's always good.. even their earbuds (talking bout mx400/500) weren't shabby
