Most Comfortable Headphones?

I'm gonna go with Senn HD650's over my DT880/DT990's.

Crazy.. right?  I thought the beyers was the most comfortable can i had ever owned, till i owned a HD650. The beyer polar bear velour is so light and cozy like a pillow,  but after i got through the slight skull thrusting head clamp and minor medusa type jaw strap phase of my HD650's, i can wear these for days and days without even knowing they're own my head.

The beyers are very comfortable, but you can still feel them rubbing on your outer ears after quite some time, but wearing the Senn's for me was like they weren't even there !

I'm gonna go with the K702s and the Sennheiser open cans. I have had the 555s as my first headphones and I loved them; very comfortable and perfect for long video game sessions.

I have the K702s now and to me, they're almost perfect. I can wear them for hours listening to music (I do actually) and aside from the bumps at the top which can get bothersome depending on the size of your head, they are great.

My ears stay cool with both phones I listed; both of them are open full sized cans.

Creative Aurvana Live/Denon D1001k >>>>> K701, Premium DT880, Pro DT770, Sony XB500/700, Bose Triport, JVC HA-S700.

The comfort can't be touched. I mentioned headphones I have owned or used and are well known for their extreme comfort.

Too close to call. I would say these are a tie for me. Loved the tight cozy fit of the HD600, and my Beyers have all been like slippers. Neither one trumps the other. Both very sweet. (I must have smaller ears, they don't touch).

Running a close second were my D5000.

OT but i been looking something new for gaming, i have ad700's and mixamp now and i like the ad's, but the lack of bass have been starting to bug me. How would you compare DT770 to CAL's in gaming . I had 555's, got the ad's and preferred their sound and sold the sens, now looking for a more enjoyable allround headphones for music, gaming, movies etc. Been looking at Denon d2000 (bit too expensive for my taste) DT770 pro 80ohm, CAL/1001 (CAL is half the money 1001 is here). Ampless ATM but in the future who knows

I personally find the DT990s are the most comfortable headphones I've used, although the HD600 were extremely close.  The K601 were comfortable, as were the AD700, but not as much as either the HD600 or the DT990.

I'm a Mixamp enthusiast in where all the headphones I like MUST work well with the Mixamp. The CAL is easily my 2nd fave headphone when paired with the Mixamp, after the K701. While the AD700s are great with the mixamp, they do lack bass. The CAL works extremely well with the Mixamp, has a great amount of clarity, decent soundstage, and VERY accurate positioning. Believe me, you would not be disappointed with the CAL ESPECIALLY for gaming with the Mixamp.

The DT770 Pro 80 works well with the Mixamp, and has a bigger soundstage than the CAL, but they also sound veiled when compared to the CAL. I'd pick the CAL over the DT770 pro 80 based on clarity alone. They both do positioning nearly perfectly.

The DT880 would otherwise be the perfect headphone with the Mixamp if they could've gotten rear positional cues right. They didn't, so they had to go.
