I also have the B2 and wondering if I should upgrade to the Dusk version. Thanks for the tip !!I’d recommend to run a search for postings by “precogvision” with keyword “Dusk”

They both use same drivers, just the tuning difference, Dusk is bit toward L shape, and Original B2 is Harman curve. I have Dusk like tuned Thieaudio Monarch, of which Dusk is referred as budget Monarch by some, and feel its very personal preference depended, both have same hardware, so it’s the tonality preference. If your main listening genre of music is Rock and instruments main type, Original might suit you better, if your main listening genre is EDM/female vocal/and detail retrieval oriented classical, Dusk might suite better.I also have the B2 and wondering if I should upgrade to the Dusk version. Thanks !! Now I'm really interested to listen to both and see for myself. They both use same drivers, just the tuning difference, Dusk is bit toward L shape, and Original B2 is Harman curve. Excuse me for jumping in. The Penon Globe might be a good complement to the OG B2 that would likely be worth investigating.I also have the B2 and wondering if I should upgrade to the Dusk version. Thanks for the tip !!
Hmm... I've never heard of this. Let me do some research, thank you !!Excuse me for jumping in. The Penon Globe might be a good complement to the OG B2 that would likely be worth investigating.
It's trying to happen, however to finish with something that replaces one of our biggest hit... You'll expect bit more time needed. So, if with this, Moondrop now has t h r e e IEMs that sound almost identical, but they cost $80, $110 and $190, doesn't this just make the KXXS (to a lesser extent even the Starfield)...completely obsolete?
From another point of view, the Aria being a cheaper-Starfield-being-a-cheaper-KXXS is an absolute win for value for money, and it happens to be my favorite of the three design wise, too. But I really hope a KXXS successor is happening soon because the Aria just completely buried them, unless there's something I'm missing here.

Happens when I was bending my head, but rare. Starfield was like a somewhat "sealed" fit, so if your ear canal volume change dramatically during the time, it could make the driver flex due to air pressure.I have a pair of Starfield and when I wear them or I make certain movements with my jaw the driver flex. I have others single DD but it only happens with these. Could it be a manufacturing defect?

You are welcome. Just to be clear, the Globe is a complement to the OG B2 and not a replacement for the B2 Dusk.Hmm... I've never heard of this. Let me do some research, thank you !!
Is this a replacement for the KXXS or Starfield or both? Can you give us a hint when the replacement might be released? We don't want to be tempted by other shiny new IEMs while the replacement is being developed. It's trying to happen, however to finish with something that replaces one of our biggest hit... Interestingly, I am sensitive to the dreaded vacuum/back-pressure phenomenon and to drive flex. I have never had an issue with either with the Starfield.Happens when I was bending my head, but rare. You can simulate the Dusk signature with the PEQ settings below.I also have the B2 and wondering if I should upgrade to the Dusk version. Thanks for the tip !!
this is awesome, let me give this a try !! thanksYou can simulate the Dusk signature with the PEQ settings below.
I have been asking myself the same question.
I do prefer the Dusk tuning for it's smoother sound but it is subtle and so far I could not justify the cost and effort to change.
YMMV
Not worth it. Their only difference is only the tuning itself. The technical abilities are still the sameI also have the B2 and wondering if I should upgrade to the Dusk version. Thanks for the tip !!
It's planned replace kxxs first, then gradually extend it over the lower linesYou are welcome. Just to be clear, the Globe is a complement to the OG B2 and not a replacement for the B2 Dusk.
