Hi Guys (and Girls),

New owner of KPE and I think I will keep them, yay!

Quick question. Which Comply tips have the best fit with the enormous nozzle on the KPE? T-200, T-400, T-500 or maybe some others?

Your help would be much appreciated.

Cheers

Sorry - Comply T400

Thanks David for a quick reply.

I hope you do not mind if I ask if you have tried few sized and you ended up on T-400 as best or how did you came to conclusion that the T-400 is best fit?

Thanks,
seb

And also should I get ones with Wax Guard or without? Any opinions on that aspect?

Thanks in advance

I saw someone else had recommended the T400 for KPE; I tried them and they fit. But I ended up using the Spinfit C145 because I like them better for sound quality, fit, and ease of use.

I like the aesthetics of the wax guard but have no opinion on what, if anything, it does to the sound. I don't need it as I've not had earwax issues to date; if you do I'd recommend the guards.

Hope this helps! Cheers.

Hi - both have a decent seal to help the bass and tame the KPE brightness or treble glare a bit.

The Comply, depending on which subtype you get (isolation, sport, comfort) can kind of blur the clarity a bit.

Spinfit sound is only just marginally better - your mileage according to Comply variant may vary some. The bigger reason for my preference is that the Spinfit are less fiddly to put on. The comply I tend to roll, pinch or squish to let them expand in the ear opening. The Spinfits I can just insert - done! Spinfits also (IMO)) stay fresh and clean longer; Comply can pick up various detritus - lint, skin flakes, etc.

Is there an upcoming Massdrop / Moondrop collaboration? I mean they have literally name it KxxS and it's more bass and more sensitive than the KPE like Massdroper always wants.

Dunno. but might this is an unpopular opinion but I'd love an acrylic version of the KPE (similar to A8). It'd avoid so many problems for me.

Just got my crescents yesterday and they are very weird to me. EDIT: A DAY LATER THEY ARE NORMAL
Very low efficiency, almost no sub bass, kind of hollow mids.
Treble is nice, smooth and extended though.
Frequency check looks unusual as well.
But since both sides measure similar I don‘t think that they are defective?
Weird....
