Thanks! I gave in after watching Z reviews last night, also ordered his recommended Sonya XB500 pads. They won't be here til Monday so I'll get a couple days with stock pads.

I just registered to tell you that I live in France and I bought it yesterday.
I paid
364,63 USD including the delivery with UPS.

At what time did they get in stock in France?

I am also from France, and ordered mine for being delivered to my Shipito Account.
Have done the same thing more than a year ago for a refurbished OPPO PM-3

Sold out already

Good job I already have a set.

They will have all been bought up by Hawkers. Check Amazon. You will find a pair for $400.

Wouldn't it be a big risk for flipping these due to high chance of QC issues?

Eh, I just got a pair last week. I Enjoy my slightly modded T50RPs much more.

That's cool. I have normal dynamic driver headphones, I want a Planar that also has the ability to be open & closed

What is a shipito account?

A forwarding service, gives you a personal U.S. mail address at their hub and forwards it to you. Most of them support combining multiple packages into one shipment with repacking to save volume, and take care of customs declarations for much less than DHL. Some of them also provide a concierge service, where they do the shopping for you (if the store only accepts U.S. credit cards for instance).

Jetcarrier and Borderlinx are two big ones, I personally use the latter cause I like their web pages better.

I paired my 1060's with the Xduoo X10 DAC and a Fiio e17 dac/amp. Together they sound phenomenal. I was listening to one of my favorite songs and kept hearing an annoying distortion during quiet parts. Of course I thought it was the 1060's, but after a few tests, ruled them out. Next came the Fiio, but that was good too.
Finally I found out that the CD itself wasn't mastered well. I'd listened to this CD for years and never picked up on the distortion. So I'm very happy with the performance of the 1060's through my DAC.
I'm sure there's better out there, but for right now, :sunglasses:

Received my 560. They are good but I'll reserve total judgement until burned in. For reference I have the Philips 9500S and LyxPro HAS-30, which are both very good for their price point.

Has anyone paired the m1060 with ifi micro dac/amp? how does that combo sound?

Don't have either, but I've heard very good things about the ifi on all accounts. They have a lot of nice features (impedance paring, bass boost to name a few) and have enough power to drive just about anything.  I would imagine it would do just fine with a M106.

I love to get one someday.
