As I pointed out in post #1791, it's likely the TidalForce Wave is a repackaged OEM version of the MonoPrice M560. The specs, included the terminology and order of specs, are almost identical. Too much a coincidence for these cans not to be related.
M560 Wave 5 Price 199 299 Form Factor Open/Clsoed Open Magnetic Structure Matrix Double Pole Matrix Double Pole Magnet Type Neodymium Neodymium Driver Size 56mm 56mm Max Power 500 mW 500 mW Max SPL 100dB/1mW at 1 KHz 100dB/1mW at 1 KHz Frequency Response 16 Hz ~ 40 kHz 16~50K Hz THD Less than 1% at 1mW; 1kHz Less than 1% at 1mW; 1kHz Impedance 42 ohms ±10% at 1kHz 42Ω ±10% at 1kHz Optimal power requirement 20mW 20mW Weight 500g 480g 6’ High end braided headphone cord 6.5mm connector adapter Wave 5 Travel Case Headphone stand
The frequency response is the only technical difference I see. The driver might be similar but implementation is going to be different. They may use different dampening materials which may result in a different sound signature.
