Listening now and WOW. Everything has been tightened up, great transients, amazing bass slam and definition, lovely vocals. Would have loved to be able to do a propper A/B comparison with the before unit as my audio memory is not that great, especially with a 2 week gap, but that was obviously not possible

Fantastic news, always great to hear the owners positive feedback after so many hardware changes 😁👍 thanks buddy.

Just found out Neotech makes a Flat OCC Copper (also Silver) solid cable. Basically a foil cable.. 20 gauge.
I have 6 feet of it on the way, will provide impressions :)

After return from @Nayparm it has now played 20 hours and only dropped one segment on the battery indicator

After 40 hours playing local 16/44 flac with source direct plus about 5 hours of BT receiver the low battery indicator is now flashing so I reckon that just playing flac until auto shut down would have given about 50 hours total play time on a charge

have now passed 90 hours and everything is just lovely, money very well spend, this should easily last me the next 10 years with a recharge roughly every 2-3 weeks

I'm really glad to hear your enjoying the upgrade. Thanks for the comments. Also thanks to @Whitigir and @MrWalkman without whom we'd all probably be listening to stock hardware and firmware 🤘

Just waiting for the release of 2 TB microSD cards

Me too as my 512 is spilling over and reputable 1TB cards are silly money in my region.

2 TB will no doubt be VERY expensive when they come out

True, equally 1TB will drop in price significantly with fewer copies.
