Modifying WM1Z/A

So trying out and downloading different firmware, I notice that each fw download stores in a separate folder on the Walkman. Is it ok to just delete these folders if you're not using that particular FW mod? I've just been downloading to the Walkman's root directory. Is that the correct method? It's definitely changing the sound signature with each download. Thanks for the input!

Thanks but unfortunately they don’t work. There’s this error message that appears: Update will be terminated because the firmware data has collapsed. Redownload the program. Error code: -60002.

The name is what it says. This is original and most “Flat in respond or closest to Sony intentions”. I also have other versions and the theories I have composed seem to have tanked through all of the different versions by far

Wow has anyone tried the new FUN version? its like a huge Hall! cathederal! Ists like having further more when you enable low A + strings its add even more FUN (awesome hall reverbs right? Impresibve add on! please keep this going!! Awesome work! Insane reverbs everywhere! electronic music sounds like in a catrhederal! Bass its very impresive too!!! I was esceptical at first but i can confirm this is a feraking awesome FW add on should be named Hall or cathederal it will ve awesome to edit this one and remove the reverb and make a club 2.0 with the same staging and tight bass but very absorbing and dampening materials lol so the reverb will be very short! im-pre-sive!

OK just installed "Ultimate 1.01" using the DMG that was uploaded with no issues on a Hackintosh and a Mac mini running Mojave 10.14.6.

On my MacBookPro 16" running Catalina 10.15.3 the installer isn't seeing my WM1A using the Sony Cable nor the WM1Z using the Sony Dock.

Musical reminded me of 2.0 but better resolution overall but same darkness and awesome bass! staging its very good its sounds more like my original 1Awhen it had 2.0 but staging its so much better! so I would name it stock 1A lol its sounds very warm also!
