In a week I will receive my brand new zx-507 from Japan.
Maybe youl be able to pull it out and can do the same tweaks with fw on it? I know its android but maybe your friend can do it?

I could even send you my zx-507 to make it happen!

I heard them say Android is nearly impossible given our limited skills. Plus Android has track record to be dangerous, those Android mod roms in the past can brick your device or become irreversible like SPK fw.

I assumed you got the ZX507 to use as a portable player. I can't think of another reason since you already have the 1Z and love it so much. Why do you need a ZX-507/Z1 when you already have the 1Z/Z1? haha

I'm not a fan of android and with these latest FWs, I am certain that the 1A will have a much better mileage vs the ZX-507

Haaa haa yes I understand with the discovery of the fw you dont need nothing else in life pretty much your end game is reached.

But I recently purchased a used pha3 and zx507 at very good price and wanted to do new test comparisons against my 1z.
But with new fw change my wm1z is now a 1z/z1 and its literally an untouchable beast now its officially now the Lord of all king of daps!

Pha-3 has like 6 hours battery LOL!!!! Walkman has like 24 hours

Good news, I have figured out that it would be possible to make macOS versions of these updaters.

I have a Windows system so I don't need to make a macOS version but would do it if anyone is interested

So, let me know if anyone is interested and I'll start with "Ultimate 1.02" as a proof of concept.

well I guess setup is really very important I wish I had balanced here to hear better the new FW out of my 1A VIA SE still im 3.00 original FW i can see the benefits from the new FW but the stagings gets exagerated on my setup falling onto the weird categoiries 3.00 since accurate staging here Natural... its weird .. i can hear new 1.02 having awesome bass awesome and very wide staging! but unfortunately my setup aparently dont do justice to it! have tried all the setups tehy are awesome if a new release out of 3.00 goes out i think it coul be awesome to there is something about it it still has me puzled over SE.. Wish some 1A users could give feedback about new FW.. also I tested only on revonext QT2 and Senheiser Ie80 if you guys are using headphones over Balanced this could be a hole diferent story.. also Im heavy EQ... dough 1.01 was really good may settle there too

OK, my macOS version of "Ultimate 1.02" worked. It took less than 2 minutes to create and ran with no issues on my WM1A what I switched from US to E.

So I can go ahead and build all of the versions.

Who can host them as they are too big attach here?
