Miu-Audio give away - 30 sets headphone amplifier DIY Kit
Aug 8, 2011 at 11:08 PM Post #106 of 205
just got an ra1 kit. I'll work on it tomorrow. All I need is an eclipse mint tin now. Anyone with the 47 kit mind posting a pic of the pcb(will it fit in an eclipse tin)? If this works out well I might buy an 47 kit.

I added two pictures of my completed amp to my profile. I listened for a bit with my ATH-A700s, and this little guy makes them sing.

Thanks!!

Building it was a breeze,  but I'll need to get creative with the case since I've never even seen one of those metal eclipse mint ones before.  Thanks again, Miu-Audio.

-- this was the cmoy kit in case anyone wants to know

Dang, I can't find those Eclipse tins anymore, and nothing in the mail yesterday. Maybe I'll have better luck today.

I can only find them at wholesale stores in which they come in packs of 10. If I actually liked them, I wouldn't mind getting them, but they leave a funky aftertaste. I guess Altoids tin it is!
