I've just received the yaxi pads. I will let you all know my thoughts on them on my MJ2s.

I have also uploaded my review on YouTube.

Excellent review. You described the MJ2 sound signature very well. Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the new ear pads.

Unfortunately, Mitchell & Johnson ceased operations a while back. Paul Mitchell's new company is offering a high end, powered, loudspeaker. It has analog and digital inputs plus bluetooth. Here is the Indiegogo link: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/ustream-true-wireless-stereo-bluetooth-speakers#/ . Would love to hear these.

That's really cool. I was wondering when someone would come out with Bluetooth speakers like these. Would love to check them out but I don't have room for speakers and my room is not acoustically great.

The new pads are really good comfort wise but I will of course spend more time with them and give you my thoughts on the sound.

Oh lord, another scam? Again crowdfund for some up-marketed and up-priced rebrands? What a pos.

The headphones sound bad at any price with any name attached.

The pads are really really good. I love the comfort they give.

The sound is slightly brighter when using them since they move the drivers further from my ears but the soundstage is wider and it overall has a bigger sound.

Pads look super! Thanks for posting a mini review with pictures. I'll have to check these out.

Terrible is a strong word. Bad is good.

Edit: Fixed
The GL2s are a lot better than you think. However, they need some SERIOUS burn-in before the electret and dynamic drivers begin to integrate. Out of the box, they sound awful (like a cheap subwoofer in a room corner). Mine needed two whole weeks of burn-in.

The long stock cable is also a problem, and should be replaced (I had FAW make me something suitable).
The result, on the end of a powerful solid-state amp, is reminiscent of the AKG hybrids of yore...

Ive no experience with GL2. I had a MJ2 and a Verisonix branded version of the hybrids.

I think Ive shared both these links in this thread before, but just in case...:

I also have to thank @fokta for the Rosen link. I sent a message to them yesterday in their fb page, waiting for their reply.
But i'm not gonna send my JP1, instead i started searching & found a pair in amazon. Unfortunately not able to send where I am right now.
@rudi0504 is a Rosen user among other friends I know. They Do enhance & improve any device they stick to...
