Well my experience is limited. I only have two MMCX connector IEMs. My first cable broke only after 60 days and very low use, on a cheap MMCX IEM. So I never change the Z5 connectors and have them hooked up to an adapter cable so I can use them with every connection there is, except dual cable 3.5 balanced and multi-pin balanced.
With the simple change of a plug end 2.5mm balanced, 4.4mm balanced, 3.5mm balanced and 3.5mm single ended.
XBA H1 or XBA H3 has a different connection. H3 known for silly too much bass.
