Yeah, I still love my Z1R, but the Elite is pretty special

it is. i sold my z1r to a headfier.

Even if the Z1R’s are sold off, if you happen to have the TA-ZH1ES it pairs beautifully with the Elite.

I've also got my 2nd Lavri grand for the Elites. Furutech mini XLR and Aeco gold plated copper. It's what they recommended.

Got these today from Latvia after their 100hr burn in. They are indeed very good.

Noticeably more detail and clarity but being the Elite's no brightness at all. I'm impressed.

They are quite a nice size. Plenty of room for big gear.

Just dropped my Elites to my dealer. They confirmed the driver is indeed dead and will repair it under warranty.

Dealer just called me and said it'll take up to 3 months to get my Elites repaired
It needs to be shipped from Japan to Romania, get repaired, and back to Japan

This is unfortunate, but it seems the main culprit are the long shipping times to and from Japan here.

Been around two weeks since the last time I have my proper time with Elite (was accompanied with Expanse and Verite in that period of time).

I just said to my self "welcome home"

Not below Verite in term of musical engagement, and still able to fight back nicely to Expanse's technicalities.

I replaced my TCs with the Elites also. Definitely better for hours of enjoyment.

Which tc did you replace elites with? 1266 or dianas?

everything hears things differently for sure but I owned the empyrean and heard the elite and own the 1266 TC and I couldnt imagine owning the elite instead of the 1266 other than for comfort reasons

I've read that people experience better soundstage, imaging and detail going TO the Elite from the 1266 TC. LOL.
