" I'm running 2100mw and they can take it if your ears can lol.

Fiio K9 Pro is such a great match for them."

What a SILLY CLAIM!
You're confusing power with gain. It's possible to have an amp with a high power output that has a low gain, and doesn't get that loud in a particular set-up. You'd have extensive hearing damage if you put 2100 mW through them while on your head, as you'd get a output of about 145 dB.

Do they have an lot of sibliance? Hars/bright sounding? I dont like it when its to bright. Then i get ear fatigue.
Ive had them for about 2 mos and have about 40 hrs. I am 63 so my ears may not be as sensitive to sibilance as younger ears. At first they had a very slight harshness. That started to lessen within 10 hrs and is allmost gone now. They are very fun and musical headphones.

Just got mine out of their box, first impressions are of a nicely balanced headphone with great detail retrieval.

The sub-bass is lovely and full, without affecting the mid bass and becoming overblown. The midrange is exceptionally nuanced and has natural tonality, the treble extends with ease and has good sparkle without any noticeable peaks.

They are so easy to drive, the little iFi Go Link is doing a great job, of course I'll test them out of my Singxer SA-1 too at some point but the Go Link gets them to deafening levels with ease and delivers a full bass response.

How does people storage these on daily basis? Is it safe to just put them on a shelf in the closet, or should you storage them im the box/bag that followed. I want this headphone to last many years. And i guess putting them in the box all the time and detatching the cable, could shorten the lifetime of some parts. Maybe just better to leave the cable on, and lay them carefully in the closet?

Why not a headphone stand? Something like this? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZYTS86X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

You can hang from the metal frame instead of the headband if you're worried about stretching the elastic that controls the headband. I own three of these stands. Love them.

Don't know, but I know that is one reason I love Senns and Beyers as all parts are replaceable and easy to obtain. Made to be used ...

A bit fuller sounding, with less of a treble peak. I'll have to listen to them side by side with my DT880 and give you more detailed feedback.

But the Meze are a bit less clinical.

I purchased these a couple months ago and found them to be an incredible headphone. However, I returned them, as to me, they were too smooth, too "polite". I really enjoy the Grado house sound, and the 109 and Grado's don't have a lot in common (IMHO). I have the Focal Clear Og and found that at least for me, the two were too close together in their tuning to keep both. Also, I really hated the pads on the 109 and my inability to properly connect them to the headphone. Anyway, I can readily see why these were probably the best headphone release in 2022. A great value for what you get....

I recently received the 660s2, and they are more to my liking..... Regardless, I wish all of you 109 owners happy listening and great sonic adventures!

Leo
