Yes. The installed pads are very nice and roomy (and quite comfortable). I've not had a 99 before, so I don't know how they differ from previous versions.
They also come with smaller pads, which I swapped on, but I didn't think they sounded as good and were not very comfortable.

I think it's one of the Meze balanced cables now that I look at it

Massdrop is already sending me a replacement. I will say this, I've unfortunately had to use their CS several times, but they do a great job.

Glad to hear they are replacing the scratched ones. Any impressions of them as I assume some scratches didn't stop you from giving them a nice listen.
