Should I even bother with this? Bass Booster is the main reason why im tempted into buying the Amp. And since Im not a fan of Itunes EQ, I figured I should get an amp instead. Would anyone recommend this? Or is it going to be more of the same? As far as sound quality goes, does it really make it any better or just louder?

Thanks in advance. =]

wow...I apologize for not responding sooner. I completely forgot about this thread.

I paired my 215s with Fiio E5 and I noticed no big difference. Slightly better though, with a nice volume boost. The bass boost was ok. I usually turn it off at higher volumes because it distorts a little bit. I wouldn't recommend buying the amp for the 215s if that answers your question.

I also went ahead and also bought a line-out because my headphone jack was busted. That's pretty much the only reason why I'm keeping my FiioE5.

I have tried my SE215's on E6, E10, CmoyBB (2227, 8066, 8620, 9v and 18v combos) and C421.  The C421 gets the best results.. The CmoyBB sounds great with the AD series opamps as long as bassboost is off, otherwise its too much distortion. The E6 doesn't add or do much for me.

I frequently use a PA2V2 with my SE215's (with my Nexus S as the source).  Fills out the bass a bit more, but nice and clean.

Personally, I don't feel the SE215 is in need of bass boost :)
