What's important are the distortion figures at 90dbs, from Jude's readings they're not far off from the 650s which can be driven cleanly at higher volumes... so hopefully they're "unlike" the 59X drivers....we'll find out soon enough.

Probably is...but tweaked... from the current reviews of the production model.....looks very promising....the specs on the prototype left me lukewarm...this one, well i joined today's drop.

For my fellow Canadian compatriots....JFYI I just checked my Visa and the $164.99US came out at $225.46 Canadian (or +$60.47)....plus there will be the added HST on delivery...so probably close to $250 all in.

Well I ordered mine at 945 this morning, and Massdrop still hasn't charged my PayPal account. Hopefully I wasn't too late to the party. I feel bad for all the people who had to wait so long. Unless Massdrop has another product I feel I can't live without in the future, I probably won't do business with them again.

Supposedly. Others have pointed out that it *looks* like an HD555 driver. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the driver is indeed a 555 driver.
