They already confirmed that on at Massdrop in HD 58X Jubilee discussion thread.

I just checked with the team on this. Sennheiser has told us they’ll be able to increase the bass response to meet our original expectations. While we believe they will be able to achieve this for the 58x, we haven’t received an updated sample and have left the published graphs of headphone measurements as we’ve been able to measure with our original samples.

It was also clarified that it applies to all units. Original wording was a bit unclear regarding that.

We can confirm that the final production tuning of all HD 58X Jubilee will have a modest bass increase, and we already have begun building the drivers to meet the target that Massdrop and Sennheiser collaborated on.

I joined at like around 50 left, then cancelled, and thought I'll join again lol. If anything, it'll be good for a driver swap with my HD580's. Now for the long wait.

Dont worry. I am pretty sure they are planning on dropping a few times more over the next few months but the quantities are limited.

Another tidbit yesterday from the official Sennheiser account, in the discussion thread for the 58X on Massdrop, in response to a user's concerns on bass tuning:

We know exactly how to improve the bass extension and raise it a little, we just have to make all our production drivers a certain way. The sonic character is still going to be natural rather than “bass cannons,” making the headphone more cross-genre suitable for those that will use this as their “one headphone.”
