Pata, u should try the MDR MA900, and or ATH A900x. I found the A900x to sound much better, much another than the DT770. The MA900 may not have that treble, or midrange of the Mikros, but the soundstage is rediculously huge, and the bass is impressive.

guys I'm not sure if i damaged my mikros or not, I was playing some black metal harsh noise that was extremely loud (too loud to be put directly over my ears, had to make the cups perpendicular to my ears), And now sometimes I feel mechanical distoriton in some tracks in the right speaker, have I ruined my mikros?

Check with Martin Logan.  They may replace them for you on warranty.  They are very generous with returns.

AKG K812 are in.
Sounded awful with the ß22 amp [terrible match].  Tiny and tinny.
Sound very very good through my old HT set-up, though, using only the headphone output from the Denon AVR-1905 receiver.

The K812 sound fine with [very modest] SS amping upstream.
Will get the Bada hybrid back and tubes up front again [soon I hope].
Meanwile the Denon DVD-1940CI and [headphone out from] the Linn Intek sound very good with these AKGs.

Had a hasty a/b/c last night with Mikros 90 w/Teds UP-OCC silver cable|PM-1|K812 [on sub-par sources].
The Mikros 90 win for bass weight, slam and carry.  I also prefer the overall balance of the MLs to that of the PM-1.
The Mikros 90 concede to the K812 in terms of micro-detail, transparency, soundstage volume and sense of "air", but still hold their own remarkably well, given that the MLs are closed, portable, supraaurals with a much lower price tag.
The K812 are definitely the most comfortable pair, completely liberating the ears inside those roomy chambers.
Will probably whittle down my ML accumulation to two pairs: the Spacey|Bassy Mod and Stock Pair #2.
Have one more unopened stock pair left to audition or possibly to sell sealed.
